Meliá Patagonia is centrally located in Puerto Varas which is known as the 'city of the roses'. It is only a five minute walk from the Plaza de Armas and la Costanera, the main tourist attraction in the city, which provides imposing views of Lake Llanquihue and the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. By car:
From Madrid
If coming from the north or from the south on the Panamericana Troncal Highway of Chile, exit at Puerto Varas on the shores of Lake Llanquihue.
By plane:
El Tepual de Puerto Montt airport it is only 30 km from Puerto Varas. Take the airport road to Puerto Montt. When you reach route 5, take the Osorno road to the north until you reach the south entrance to Puerto Varas. Cross the pedestrian square, go down calle San Francisco until calle Portales and then go up calle Estación until calle Klenner, take the turning to the right and soon you will see the Meliá Patagonia.
By Bus:
There are mini buses from Puerto Montt, Frutillar, Osorno and other destinations from the south every 10 minutes.
(Airport - Meliã Patagonia) Costs approximately $15,000 (29USD), depending on the number of people and the amount of luggage.
From the city centre:
With the Plaza de Armas as a reference point, head towards calle San José, away from the lake, when you reach calle San Francisco turn to the left cross over calle Portales and here you will see some stairs. Once at the top walk to calle Klenner then take a right and soon you will see the Meliá Patagonia.
